Full Job Description
The Business Analyst role is to plan, design, develop, and improve operational procedures in support of joint operating agreements between BW Energy and its Partners. The Business Analyst is responsible for generating and compiling reports, Board communications, project financial analysis to communicate possible solutions to projects, client’s activities, and procedures. This individual will apply proven communication and technical skills to reach Company’s goals.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
· Support partner related activities to ensure compliance with Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) terms and conditions; develop and perform analysis to identify areas for improvements
· Develop in-depth understanding of field development plans, operations and projects and utilize knowledge to proactively identify and communicate potential JV risks
· Develop in-depth understanding of BWE JOA’s and assist in providing guidance to other BWE and BW team members
· Attend partner meetings (TCM, CTC, Workshops) and develop minutes and action items; assist in ensuring all partner and government meeting arrangements are complete and appropriately supported.
· Prepare reports and documentation in support with E&P functional teams to respond to partner requests
· Prepare cost / benefit analysis documentation
· Assist with development of AFEs, supporting backup and analysis; assist tracking AFE status
· Assist in the preparation of materials, monthly and quarterly senior management, and Board of Directors reporting, and other Corporate reporting requirements and tasks
· Assist with collating and analyzing inputs into cost recovery account
· Gathering supporting documentation for compliance related subjects
· Assist in internal compliance reporting as required
· Assist in the document control and retrieval of government related correspondence
· Assist in developing and/or redesign processes/reports that will improve insights into critical issues impacting partners and BWE
· Build strong working relationships with team members at all levels of the organization and from all functional areas and BW companies as well as partner teams
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
· Bachelor’s degree required
Experience
· Minimum of 3-5 years in the offshore industry specifically related to Engineering, Project and Field Operations support
· Experience in international E&P operations, preferred
· Knowledge of business and administrative process flows and inter-dependencies
· Some experience of liaising with regulatory bodies and associated processes, preferred
· Strong project management skills
· Proficient with MS Office applications

· Working knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate across disciplines (i.e., projects, production operations, accounting, supply chain) and levels of management
· Strong analytical skills

· Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multinational environment
· Fluent in the English language (oral and written).
