Full Job Description
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic accounting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records. Your expertise in QuickBooks and proficiency with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) will be critical in streamlining our financial operations as we continue to scale.
Requirements
- Daily Accounting Tasks:
- Process accounts payable invoices, prepare payments, and ensure timely vendor disbursements.
- Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, collections, and reconciling accounts.
- Record daily transactions such as sales, expenses, and bank deposits in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Financial Reporting Support:
- Assist in month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account analysis.
- Prepare financial reports as needed (e.g., balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow).
- Assist with tax preparation and filing.
- Process Optimization:
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date financial records.
- Identify areas to improve accounting processes for efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software (desktop or online version).
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
