Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Modelling Expertise: Engineer sophisticated 3D models for mechanical systems using
- Autodesk Fabrication parts in Revit.
- Team Coordination: Drive seamless collaboration across internal teams, fostering a dynamic workflow among Plumbing, mechanical pipe, and Ductwork.
- Innovative Design: Collaborate closely with General Superintendents to devise innovative system designs, prioritizing optimal constructability and project efficiency.
- Effective Communication: Engage proactively with General Contractors and diverse trades during the design phase, enhancing project processes and communication.
- Problem-Solving Leadership: Take the lead in identifying and resolving coordination challenges, actively contributing to the production of RFIs for enhanced project clarity.
- Advanced Visualization: Craft cutting-edge coordination files compatible with Navisworks, elevating project visualization and fostering collaborative team efforts.
- Deadline Commitment: Demonstrate unwavering commitment to meeting stringent deadlines, and delivering impeccably detailed installation drawings to empower field personnel for project success.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of relevant industry experience as a Designer/Detailer.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360 required. Familiarity with software like Bluebeam is advantageous.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret contract drawings and specifications.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with efficient multitasking skills.
- General knowledge of the construction process.
- Expertise in the following areas: Plumbing systems, Mechanical systems, Domestic water systems, Sheet Metal / HVAC
