As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and treating auditory and vestibular disorders. You will work with patients to develop personalized hearing care plans and provide them with the necessary support to enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions testing.
  • Interpret test results and recommend appropriate treatment options such as hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and auditory rehabilitation.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing healthcare, hearing loss prevention, and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists, to coordinate patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in audiology through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited university or college.
  • Hold a valid license to practice audiology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience with diagnostic audiological equipment and software is a plus.
