We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Audiologist to join our client's team in the Texas Medicql Center. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and treating auditory and vestibular disorders. You will work closely with patients to provide personalized hearing care solutions and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone and speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions testing.
- Interpret test results and make appropriate recommendations for treatment, including hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and auditory rehabilitation.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families about auditory healthcare, hearing conservation, and communication strategies.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists, to coordinate patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in audiology through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with diagnostic audiological equipment and software.
