We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a passion for litigation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in personal injury litigation, be licensed to practice in Texas, and possess exceptional legal acumen.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution, with a focus on achieving outstanding results for clients.
- Litigation: Lead and participate in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Client Advocacy: Maintain regular client communication, provide updates on case progress, and advocate zealously on their behalf.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations with professionalism and expertise.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure efficient case progression and resolution.
- Settlement Negotiations: Strategically negotiate settlements to maximize client recovery and minimize litigation costs.
- Compliance and Ethics: Maintain a high standard of ethical conduct and comply with all Texas BAR requirements.
Requirements:
- Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- License: Licensed to practice law in Texas with a clean BAR record.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
- Proven trial experience and ability to handle high-stakes cases independently.
- Skills:
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy with experience using case management software.
