We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a passion for litigation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in personal injury litigation, be licensed to practice in Texas, and possess exceptional legal acumen.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution, with a focus on achieving outstanding results for clients.
  • Litigation: Lead and participate in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Client Advocacy: Maintain regular client communication, provide updates on case progress, and advocate zealously on their behalf.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations with professionalism and expertise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure efficient case progression and resolution.
  • Settlement Negotiations: Strategically negotiate settlements to maximize client recovery and minimize litigation costs.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Maintain a high standard of ethical conduct and comply with all Texas BAR requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • License: Licensed to practice law in Texas with a clean BAR record.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
    • Proven trial experience and ability to handle high-stakes cases independently.
  • Skills:
    • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Tech-savvy with experience using case management software.
  • Character:
    • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
    • Collaborative and team-oriented with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
