Full Job Description
Foundation Fresh Market is looking for an hands-on Assistant Store Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring a high energy, fun, and a seamless shift for both team members and guests.
Light food prep is required such as preparing/serving coffee and other items like avocado toast.
At our flagship store you'll be serving mostly City of Dallas employees, which means you'll be growing a community of regular customers that will quickly feel like friends that come to visit you throughout the day.
Although the store has a small footprint, you will be maintaining it which can include some washing, organizing, stocking retail, etc.
You'll be providing regular operational updates to other management team members on a daily basis as well as helping identify areas for potential growth - we are excited to see what you will contribute!
If you're wondering what the store is like, well imagine if Whole Foods and 7 Eleven had a baby : ) Healthy meals, snacks...and this is just the beginning!
Ever dream of having your own market/cafe? Well, you'll be working directly with the founder who has also founded other restaurants in town. You'll be gaining real world entrepreneurial experience while at work!
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation
- Passion for food and people
- Kind, energetic, and service focused personality
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to inspire other team members
- Bi-Lingual is a plus
- Ability to delegate, follow up, and properly hold team members accountable
- Strong time management skills, and ability to multi-task
- Strong written/ verbal communication and listening skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8+ hours daily, or as needed
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Must pass food Safety Certification and Final Shift Leader assessment

- Training Pay $18/hr (aprox $37,440 annual)
- Post Training Pay $20-25/hr+ (aprox $41,600 - $52,000 annual)
