Full Job Description
Provides transportation for clients of Alumni Support Services to work, interviews, appointments, and other activities as needed. Provides mentoring, support and coordinates activities for residents of Alumni Support Center (ASC). Assists with group activities and events. *Thursday-Monday 10pm to 6am*
Requirements
Essential Duties:
1. Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
2. Provides transportation to work, appointments and interviews for residents of the ASC.
3. Provides support and mentoring for assigned ASC residents.
4. Models social skills, anger management skills, assertiveness skills, and problem-solving skills to residents.
5. Participates in team meetings and facilitates communication of residents’ activities and needs to appropriate staff members.
6. Assists with Resident Council activities.
7. Assists in meeting daily needs of residents of ASC and other alumni receiving services as assigned.
8. Assists with Life Skills groups.
9. Assists with maintaining and stocking food pantries at the ASC and Campus Support Center.
10. Assists with planning and coordinating activities and special events for residents of ASC.
11. Facilitates compliance with all organizational policies and COA regulations.
12. Maintains daily communication with Alumni Support Team members.
13. Assists ASC Life Coach when not directly working with youth or in another assigned activity.
14. Safely and effectively leads residents through chosen activities.
15. Exhibit common sense, good judgment, and safety awareness at all times.
16. Exhibits appropriate interaction with residents.
Job Specifications:
1. High school diploma
2. Experience working with children and/or young adults preferred.
3. Computer proficiency is preferred.
4. Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
5. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
6. Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, and prolonged sitting/standing.
7. Must be at least 21 years of age.
8. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
9. Must be available for travel as needed.
