The Role:
You will work with the Hardware and Products teams to maintain and expand the systems our teams rely on for and assembly. Your work will be critical in accelerating the pace at which our team works, and the quality of the products we bring to market by building and flying vehicles right in San Antonio.

Requirements
You bring:
- Associates Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware in automotive, consumer electronics, or Aerospace.
- Demonstrated self-direction skills and ability to deliver electromechanical hardware, with examples.
- Ability to read and write comprehensive technical documentation.
- Attention to details during assembly and generating and modifying assembly manuals and design packages.
- Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.) and using relevant tools.
- Understanding of relevant industry standards, specifications, and requirements.
- Ability to operate independently, lead project initiatives related to product development / manufacturing, make decisions, influence outcomes, and drive tasks to successful completion.
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
Bonus Qualifications:
- PCBA fabrication experience including prior work with or setup/modification/monitoring SMT processes.
- Hands-on experience with R/C and/or autonomous flight vehicles, flight controllers, or other related control systems.
- Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plus with electronics or mechanical assembly.
- Electronics manufacturing industry experience a plus.
- Able to hand solder per J-STD and/or NASA-STD 8739.4.
Work Environment:
- Work environment is within an office and light manufacturing setting.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 lbs; frequent walking/standing.
- Occasional domestic travel in support of customer, company and project objectives.
- Please note this position will require being hands-on with hardware regularly and requires being close to Darkhive facilities in San Antonio.

- Hire / No Hire - Based on video conference review of solution with opportunity to ask questions and meet the team.
Benefits
Compensation: $60,000-120,000
The salary range for this position is an estimate that considers various compensation factors. The actual salary offer may differ based on factors such as work experience, education, training, critical skills, and business needs. Most full-time offers also include equity grants, which are a component of Darkhive's total compensation package but do not substitute for base compensation and benefits.
