Our Area Sales Managers should be innovators, who “think limitless” to exceed company objectives. You will be a passionate people manager, highly numerate, target-driven, commercially savvy and excited about working in the beauty industry.
- Sales Goals
- Sales plan achievement.
- Drive sales by identifying opportunities and taking appropriate action - addressing issues / challenges quickly.
- Review business trends and communicate to RSD’s and the cross functional teams, planning for opportunities and jeopardies accordingly.
- Educate, coach and reinforce skills and behaviours that are on brand and drive the desired result.
- Regularly meet with and form productive business partnerships with RSM and local Retailer Leadership.
- Communicate stock trends and needs to planning and accounts management teams.
- Assist the RSD in monthly sales goals by door for the region, analyse trends then take appropriate action.
- Review sales goals by door weekly and monthly with RSD, communicate to team as needed.
- Demonstration
- Oversee in-store staffing and reduce turnover by offering support, education and development as needed.
- Manage and/or oversee all budgets for region with RSD– Freelance and Travel budgets within plan.
- Coach teams to develop new ways to recruit consumers and execute the Charlotte Tilbury Touch.
- Ensure that additional staffing is used only to drive additional sales.
- Drive the productivity of Counter Artists, Lead Artists and Freelancers.
- Management
- Recruit, Interview, Hire, Train and Develop talented team members.
- Ensure people, payroll, T&E, budgets and accounting policies, procedures, and processes are being followed.
- Coach and develop team members in cooperation with the People Team to evaluate and review the performance, productivity, and efficiency of Account Executives, Coordinators and retail staff.
- Effectively recommend promotions or other changes in status of team members and partner with the People Team and leadership.
- Events
- Work with Field Team to strategize event calendar, prioritize scheduling, adjust for learnings. Ensure the strategy for Specialty follows regional directives.
- Owns appointment and preselling goals are being achieves.
- Owns Regional Event reporting, and ensures all events are executed successfully and full recap send to Magic Office.
- General
- Ensure team is executing point of sale guidelines and counters are always customer ready.
- Facilitate weekly status updates with Account Executives and Coordinators.
- Monitor and ensure stores have the correct merchandise to achieve goal; escalate and oversee ongoing communication to support inventory driving sales.
- Partner with Regional Education & Events Manager on all Training / Education needs for the Region.
- Monitor and approve travel & expense reports while staying within T&E Budgets.
Reporting Relationships: This role reports to the Regional Sales Director.
$120,000.00 – 135,000.00 USD
Requirements
- 5+ plus years of Beauty industry experience
- 5+ plus years of Beauty retail management
- Omni Channel experience desired
- Intermediate skills in MS Office including: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to influence others
- Excellent communicator, both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability in creating sales strategy and consistently achieving sales plan
- Demonstrated success in developing winning teams
- Must possess strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills
- Must be able to create winning partnerships with retailers
