AP Statistics Teacher- Curriculum Writer

UWorld is looking for an AP Statistics Teacher to join our growing organization. This experienced candidate will collaborate with a team of educators to write content for our web-based Advanced Placement® study materials. Job Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Mathematics Curriculum Manager. The Content Author will create testing materials for the AP Statistics college prep programs and participate in product development.

• Play a key role in project development, planning, and execution
• Write AP style passages and questions with comprehensive explanations
• Create study guide materials, lecture slides, scripts, and more for UWorld AP Statistics course materials
• Develop simple and elegant images that visualize the written explanations
• Provide revisions and constructive feedback on content written by other authors
• Apply knowledge of the AP Statistics course description and college board practices to all content
• Collaborate with management and work closely with other content experts to create AP products as a team
• Assists other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met

Requirements

Minimum Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field required
• Master’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience Required:

• 2 years of AP Statistics teaching or curriculum writing experience required
• AP Reader, AP Table Leader, and AP Consultant experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of SAT and ACT test preparation is a plus
