Accounts Receivable Specialist

OP2 Labs, a 4X Inc 5000 fastest growing consumer goods company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of payments from customers, maintaining customer accounts, and resolving any billing or payment discrepancies. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain customer accounts, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation
• Review and resolve any billing discrepancies or payment issues in a timely manner
• Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address any customer concerns related to billing or payment
• Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions for recovery
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and collections activities
• Innovate and automate business process through technology as available

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including AR processes and collections
• Proficiency in using accounting software (NetSuite) and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• A degree is not required. Our company values skills and experience over education
