Job Summary:
Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to provide strong leadership. The Accounts Payable Manager’s responsibilities include maintaining accurate records regarding payments to suppliers, processing payments from clients, and training staff members.
Job Duties:
· Managing and leading a team of accounts payable professionals ensuring that they are trained and capable of handling their responsibilities effectively
· Overseeing the accurate and timely processing of invoices ensuring correct coding and no discrepancies
· Managing the payment process including the scheduling of payments, selecting payment methods, and ensuring timely disbursements to vendors
· Ensuring compliance with governmental, financial, and tax regulations including 1099’s
· Monitoring and controlling company expenses by verifying and processing employee expense reports in compliance with company policies
· Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable transactions
· Identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the accounts payable department
· Participating in the month-end process, reconciling accounts payable ledgers, and preparing reports for financial statements
· Setting and facilitating the achievement of department objectives
· Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and lenders
· Performs other duties as needed
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
Or minimum three years as an Accounts Payable manager required
· Three or more years of accounts payable experience required
· One or more years of managing deadlines and working with others required
· Familiarity with GAAP required
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required
· Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
· Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 26lbs or more required
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
· Alignment with company core values required
Preferred Qualifications:
· Infor Visual or other ERP experience preferred
