Full Job Description
Doota Industrial America, a leading telecommunications and electronic manufacturing company, is seeking a motivated Accounting Manager to join their Round Rock office. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company and contribute to the growth and success of Doota IT.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting functions, such as general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Experience in registering and maintaining accounts for payroll; city, local, and state tax regulations.
- Experience creating accounts local, city, state and federal tax guidelines to properly do business in those areas for Business & Employees/Payroll
- 401K/IRA Management
- Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
- Review & approve entire financial activities (Cash forecasts, bank transactions, AP/AR, Reconciliations, budgeting, month end closing)
- Knowledge of sales tax in Texas and throughout the US.
- Review journal entries & Monthly reporting working with external accounts to prepare annual tax return & audit.
- Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements.
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to statutory regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain information, analyze data, and provide financial insights.
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with Quickbooks Online
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting,
- Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA is a plus but not required
