As Warehouse Associate, Services Specialist, successful candidate will coordinate activities and provide coaching and guidance to DC Associates and Housekeeping.   The Warehouse Associate, Services Specialist works alongside and with the team, stepping in as needed to ensure maximum productivity and performance.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Performs production duties as needed in Inbound, Kitting, Returns, Outbound and Inventory at or above expectations for each task.

·        Provides employees and temporaries training on how to properly perform their tasks (i.e. how to put kit boxes in the assembly box or to maintain single piece flow on their line).

·        Assists the floor as an employee resource.

·        Escalates productivity barriers to DC leaders.

·        Identifies and addresses safety hazards within the work area.

·        Perform administrative duties, and additional functions, as needed and determined by management.

·        Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized.

·        Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

Qualifications / Experience:

 

·        High school diploma or GED.

·        One year of related DC experience is preferred.

·        Demonstrated proven efficiency as subject matter expert in performing four (4) or more functions in the DC to include Inbound (receiving process, samples, maintain bulk FEFO storage, inventory pulls); Kitting (planning, verification, processing, building); Inventory (cycle counts, special projects, year-end);  Returns (returns process); and Outbound (Wave running, picking, packing, pallet picking, shipment paperwork, specialty shipments).

·        Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist other DC employees.

·        Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

·        Ability to work in a fluid, team-oriented environment with a ‘can do’ attitude.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office heavily concentrated on Excel

·        Work a flexible schedule including some weekends.

·        Bilingual Spanish skills a plus.

·        Ability to drive a forklift preferred.

 

Physical Requirements

·        Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

·        Must be able to move and work in a non-climate-controlled distribution center environment.

·        Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push, pull, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
