Our Summer Internship Program is an Onsite Program. This will be based in our Nashville Office.

Internship Overview

Our internship opportunities within our Music Division are organized into four areas – Non-Touring, Touring, Booking, and Brand Partnerships. The Non-Touring department includes our corporate teams surrounding operations, DE&I/Social Impact, Accounting, Business and Legal Affairs. Our Touring Division includes Tour Marketing & Digital Services and our Representing Agent teams. Our Booking team encompasses booking for Fairs&Festivals, Colleges and other venues/events. Brand Partnerships works closely within our music division and the broader Wasserman power to ideate, plan, and execute on partnerships for our world class roster of artists.

An internship with Wasserman Music provides an opportunity to shadow employees to learn about and participate in the functions of a US-based agency, such as:

  • Uploading performance offers and show finals into the booking system to learn about deal structures
  • Generating tour itineraries to get a better understanding of tour routings
  • Assisting with aspects of the artist immigration process
  • General shadowing of agent teams to learn the functionality of client services, professional communication, and overall workflow in the field
  • Reviewing on-sale ticket performance information to create ticket reports to acquire insight about tour marketing
  • Becoming involved in agency lead Social Impact and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Day-to-day Duties Include:

  • Data Entry/Management and tracking of ticket counts, deposits and offers.
  • Support the department as necessary with special projects or tasks that are both short and long term

Requirements

  • Express a passion for the music and entertainment industry
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle varied personalities and sensitive situations
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, time management and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Computer literacy is a must
