Shipper/Receiver

Position Overview:
As a Shipper/Receiver, you will ensure the seamless flow of packages through our warehouse, managing both incoming and outgoing shipments with accuracy and care. This is a dynamic role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Duties: Accept incoming shipments, verify their contents against documentation, and organize items for processing.
• Shipping Duties: Prepare, label, and dispatch outgoing parcels, ensuring they meet customer requirements and carrier standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all shipments, updating inventory systems as necessary.
• Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly.
• Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
• Safety and Maintenance: Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for managing shipment records and inventory systems.
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is a plus but not required.
