Shipper/Receiver

Role Overview:
As a Shipper/Receiver, you’ll manage the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that packages are processed accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Handling: Receive incoming packages, verify their contents, and organize them for further processing.
• Order Preparation: Prepare outgoing shipments by carefully packing and labeling parcels according to shipping requirements.
• Inventory Coordination: Track stock levels and update records to maintain accurate inventory control.
• Inspection & Reporting: Check packages for damage or discrepancies, reporting issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and carriers to ensure smooth shipping and receiving operations.
• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and streamline shipping workflows.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all warehouse safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer literacy for updating inventory systems and processing shipments.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics is a plus but not required.
• A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.
