Full Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive design experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical engineering, possess strong project management skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert engineering design for electrical engineering projects.
  • Manage and contribute to all phases of electrical engineering projects, including design development, presentation drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure design intent is incorporated into construction documentation and specifications.
  • Support the construction phase by addressing queries, providing clarifications, visiting sites, resolving issues, and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with clients, regulators, and agencies.
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, financial data, client correspondence, and project schedules.
  • Ensure technical document accuracy through Quality Assurance reviews.
  • Contribute to project planning, cost management, and scheduling.
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities, including proposal development and providing technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Engineer (PE) in Tennessee; licensure strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain professional engineering registration in multiple states.
  • 10-15 years of experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Project management experience in design/build projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure; essential.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; essential.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Proficient in integrated Construction Documents.
  • Strong technical writing skills preferred.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with remote team members using technology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
