Full Job Description

The Reverse Logistics Coordinator at GOVX will support the business with best-in-class processes while owning GOVX’s reverse logistics management. GOVX best serves our product partners by effectively communicating and dispositioning products in the reverse logistics process flow. The Reverse Logistics Coordinator is a creative problem solver who will be a partner in devising workable plans and implementing them as they relate to the reverse logistics processes. This position will report to the Inventory Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Own the process, reporting, partner and internal communication related to the reverse logistics needs.
  • Maintain, develop, and implement inter-department returned inventory processes to accurately and efficiently record the disposition of returned inventory. 
  • Proactively audit all reverse logistics activities, setting standards and monitoring compliance of processes.  
  • Timely and accurately process return shipments to Bulk Return partners with required documentation. 
  • Communicate across departments to support accounting, merchandising, and logistics business needs including partner support and disposition needs. 
  • Identify and leverage best practices and system usage to work accurately and timely
  • Identify nonreturnable trends to improve return recovery with partners.
  • Process credits expected to be received from Bulk Return Vendors and partnering with Accounts Payable team on recovery of credits.
  • Communicate proposed reverse logistics recommendations clearly and effectively to senior business executives via reports and metrics.
  • Uncover and contribute new opportunities to solve reverse logistics needs.

Requirements

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in project-based work.

Skills/Requirements

  • NetSuite experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and applying formulas to add operational value to data sets.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, processing and reporting of reverse logistics functions.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and optimization of reverse logistics management practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously, exercising independent judgment and decision-making on complex issues, and under management supervision.
  • Operates with a sense of ownership and urgency.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel Requirements
No travel is expected for this position.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and adjacent warehouse facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, and packing equipment.

Work Location
This position is an in-office position working onsite at the GOVX Fulfillment Center in LaVergne, TN.  You will be required to report to the office five days per week and work a full eight-hour shift each day from the office.  No relocation allowance or visa sponsorship will be provided.

Physical/Mental Demands

  • Physical – This role will require some lifting to 40 lbs.
  • Mental – Problem solving, making decisions, interpreting data, organizing, read/write.

Pay Range
$26.44 - $28.85 per hour

Position will require successful completion of a background check and drug testing prior to starting employment.
