Full Job Description
Element 47 is a growing marketing and web development agency based in Nashville, Tennessee, looking for an experienced marketing manager.
Our work is fast-paced and consists of a mix of project-based and retainer-based work. This position will be involved in both of those areas, managing projects and ongoing marketing retainers in collaboration with our internal team and clients.
We want Element 47 to be a great place to work! Happy employees make life better for everyone involved—colleagues, clients, and of course, themselves. Here are a few reasons why we think you’d like it here:
- We value life outside of the office. We rarely work more than 40 hours a week. We have fun while we do great work.
- You’re good at what you do (and you want to get better). Here you’ll be surrounded by people who care about doing great work, with a drive to grow every day.
- We’re good at what we do. Check out our website to see for yourself (element47.co). Each of us is working to master our craft.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain consistent, clear communication with clients through regular check-ins and strategic discussions, ensuring they are informed of project status and developments.
- Collaborate with Marketing Strategist to develop and refine marketing strategies, ensuring smooth execution across projects.
- Conduct and support comprehensive research efforts to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Execute marketing tasks such as content creation, social media management, email campaigns, and website updates. Delegate tasks to team members when appropriate.
- Oversee daily project tasks, manage client communications, and coordinate team efforts to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Compile and deliver monthly performance reports, providing insights and highlighting progress and challenges.
Requirements
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
We're very protective of our culture. We hire highly motivated, positive, easy-going people with excellent communication skills who can execute multiple projects simultaneously.
Our work requires collaboration—both as a team and with our clients. Sometimes we need to have tough—but respectful—conversations. Curiosity and good questions are expected and appreciated.
Those are boxes that everyone on our team checks. Here are the additional qualifications needed for this role:
Experience:
- Proven experience in marketing project management, preferably in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
- Ability to execute a marketing strategy across multiple channels (e.g. creating social posts and emails, writing content, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRMs, project management software, social media tools, Google Analytics, email platforms).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective communication with both clients and internal teams.
Skills & Brain Wiring:
- You think creatively (do you have good ideas?)
- You listen well, process quickly, and ask good questions
- You enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems
- You can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with competing time restraints (it’s not for everybody!)
- You welcome feedback and critique from internal team and clients
- You have a strong attention to detail
EDUCATION
- A bachelor’s degree is great, but we’re more concerned about your abilities than a degree
