Full Job Description
The Machinist / Fixture Builder will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to create precision parts and fixtures. This position requires reading blueprints and technical drawings, understanding machining processes, and ensuring that fabricated parts meet specifications and quality standards.
Key tasks include:
- Utilizing lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines to create components.
- Fabricating and assembling jigs and fixtures to support production needs.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to develop efficient machining processes.
- Performing routine maintenance and inspection of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Mazak (Mazatrol Programming) Mill Experience is a plus!
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training or certification in machining is a plus. Candidates should have prior machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
