StaffWerk is currently seeking skilled and experienced Line Cooks to join our team. As a leading provider of temporary and on-going staffing in the hospitality industry, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Line Cooks play a vital role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
- Cook and plate a variety of dishes according to recipes and guidelines
- Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Flexibility in schedule, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Pay:
$18 per hour
Shifts:
Saturday August 31st., 4pm - 11pm
Sunday September 1st., 4pm - 12am
