Leasing Account Specialist

The Leasing Account Specialist reports to the Operations Director and spearheads all leasing and tenant placement efforts as assigned.

This position is fast paced and requires sales ability and the ability to multi-task.

Primary responsibilities include interacting with prospective residents, securing leases, onboarding new business, online marketing, advertising assigned rentals, lead generation, outreach marketing, etc.

General Responsibilities:

• Follow-up on leads in a timely, professional manner
• Providing weekly reports.
• Consult with clients in order to discover their property desires; then find properties that meet those needs
• Act as an intermediary between your leasing client and your assigned company director
• Educate your clients on key specifics of their home leasing experience
• Meet mandatory monthly sales/leasing goals
• Strong attention to detail
• Answer the phone, maintain organized and proper filing systems, etc.
• Greet clients in a positive and professional manner
• Oversee and ensure the accurate completion of application and lease paperwork
• Create marketing campaigns, as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Property Leasing: 5 years (Required)
• Sales: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Requirements

Leasing Consultant Requirements:

• 5 Years Industry experience
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft and Google Suites
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to type 30 - 40 wpm
• Property Management Software Knowledge, Specifically Yardi
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Have dependable transportation to and from work
• Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
• Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers
• HAS A PROVEN TRACK RECORD IN LEASING AND/OR SALES
