Kennel Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily care and feeding of animals in our kennel facility.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Provide exercise and enrichment activities for boarded pets to ensure their physical and mental well-being.
• Assist veterinary staff with restraining animals during examinations and procedures as needed.
• Monitor the health and behavior of boarded pets and report any concerns to veterinary staff promptly.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.

Requirements

• Kennel Experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
