Growth Scientist

We are looking for a skilled and data-driven Growth Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Growth Scientist, you will play a critical role in understanding user behavior, analyzing data, and developing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data science, a deep understanding of growth hacking principles, and the ability to translate insights into actionable growth strategies.

Requirements

Data Analysis and Insights:

• Utilize statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to analyze user behavior, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
• Work with large datasets to uncover patterns and correlations that inform growth strategies.

User Segmentation:

• Segment user populations based on behavior, demographics, and other relevant factors.
• Develop targeted growth strategies for different user segments.

Experimentation and Growth Hacking:

• Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of changes on user behavior.
• Iterate on experiments to optimize growth strategies based on results.

Predictive Modeling:

• Develop and deploy predictive models to forecast user behavior, churn, and other key metrics.
• Use machine learning techniques to drive data-driven decision-making.

Retention and Engagement Strategies:

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve user retention and engagement.
• Collaborate with product teams to enhance features and experiences.

Funnel Analysis:

• Conduct funnel analysis to understand user journeys and identify areas for improvement.
• Optimize conversion rates at each stage of the user journey.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align growth initiatives with overall business goals.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

Reporting and KPI Monitoring:

• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to user growth and engagement.
• Communicate results and insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Proven experience in a data science or growth scientist role.
• Previous experience in a music tech, media tech, or fintech company is a strong advantage.
• A passion for the music industry and a deep understanding of its intricacies will be a major advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Experience working with cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure AI products and services.
• Experience working with CRM tools like HubSpot.

Analytical Thinking:

• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Growth Hacking Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of growth hacking principles and strategies.

Collaboration:

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
