Ware Jones Realtors is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of our property management and maintenance operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and visually appealing for our clients and staff. As the Facilities Manager, you will have the opportunity to directly impact the quality of life in our workplaces, improving operational efficiencies while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. You will lead a team of maintenance personnel and contractors, coordinating various projects from initial planning through execution. Your insights and expertise will be crucial in establishing long-term relationships with vendors and service providers, as well as optimizing our budgets and resource allocation. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facilities operations, ensuring all systems function efficiently.
  • Develop and manage budgets for facilities maintenance and project expenditures.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Create preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
  • Manage space planning and allocation for optimal use of office space.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives to promote energy efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role in the real estate industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Budget management experience, with a focus on cost-effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
