Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of a residency/fellowship program in Emergency Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Active and unrestricted medical license in any state in the USA
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in Emergency Medicine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick and accurate decisions
• Experience in managing a wide range of acute medical conditions and emergencies
• Ability to effectively triage patients based on severity of condition
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Duties:

• Assess and triage patients presenting to the emergency room
• Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions and emergencies
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Stabilize patients in critical condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
• Make timely and accurate decisions regarding patient care
• Document patient information accurately and timely
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
