Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to clients with outstanding debts.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements to facilitate debt recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of conversations and transactions in our database.
- Analyze account information to assess client payment capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their circumstances and provide suitable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing debt collection practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve disputes and clarify accounts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in debt collection or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- High level of empathy and active listening skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations.
