Our client, a leading general contractor specializing in retail and commercial construction projects, is seeking a skilled and experienced General Contractor to oversee and manage a variety of high-profile builds. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of commercial and retail construction projects, from planning to completion
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and safety regulations
- Oversee site operations, ensuring quality control and adherence to specifications
- Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and provide project updates
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial general contracting, with a focus on retail and commercial projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, safety protocols, and building codes
Ability to read blueprints, manage budgets, and oversee multiple subcontractors and trades
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
