Position Objective: Represents Esperta Health as a business development professional in assigned territories to educate and obtain patient referrals for in-home wound care. Accounts in territories will be physician offices, home health agencies, wound care clinics, and hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships in accounts in territory with healthcare professionals including physicians, referral nurses, discharge planners, case managers, hospitalists & to educate for the wound care services provided by Esperta Health
- Increase revenue by obtaining referrals in accounts assigned as you follow the Business Development process outlined in training ( Connect, Explore, Consult, Act)
- Conduct Education Inservice for accounts to properly promote Esperta Health and our service line and platform
- Attend/ Participate in any community health education functions that would be beneficial for promoting the Esperta Health service line locally in market
- Maintain professional communication by being the liaison between the account and the CSR / Call Center for proper execution of referral to on- service
- Meet and exceed a monthly quota as assigned
- Create and cultivate any new accounts while in market that will benefit from the Esperta Health service line
- Properly document and maintain Salesforce.com CRM system, quarterly plans, weekly pre call plans, and weekly call routing plans as outlined by the National BD Director
- Collaborate and assist with any other TM as needed for business purposes according to business needs
- Adhere to monthly and quarterly budget parameters as outlined by operations
- Monitor service provision through ongoing quality assurance during in- person sales visits with referral source contacts
- Adhere to the proper dress code of Business Professional as governed by Esperta Health policy, and wear identification name plate at all times while conducting Esperta Health business
- Properly care for all company given equipment
- Demonstrate qualifications and competencies consistently and reliably
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively, orally and in writing, across all levels of the company
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 3 years of business development experience in healthcare service sales (i.e. home health, hospice, rehab, specialty, etc.) with a proven track record of successful provider-based referral sales is required.
- Must possess reliable transportation, a valid state driver’s license and maintain automobile liability insurance.
- Previous experience with Salesforce.com CRM preferred.
- Previous knowledge of wound care preferred.
