Tire Technician

C & B Equipment,  a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere ag, material handling and powersports locations, has an opening for a Tire Technician at its location in Corsica, South Dakota. A Tire Technician at C & B performs installation and repair of all types of tires while providing excellent customer service to customers both in the store and in the field. Must have a clean driving record, able to perform heavy lifting and be highly self-motivated.

• Performs installation and repair of tires all farm equipment or outdoor power equipment
• Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties 
• Maintains current product knowledge
• Work on-site at farming operation with mobile tire truck
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment. 
• Must be able to function well in a physically demanding environment
• Be able to obtain a CDL

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
