Sales Agronomist

Crown Recruiting seeks a Sales Agronomist to join the team of an expanding ag cooperative in the Chamberlain, SD area! The Sales Agronomist plays a key role in driving sales efforts & building relationships with valued customers by providing tailored solutions & recommendations. Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Build & maintain strong relationships with existing & future clients
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, & give expert agronomic advice & crop planning recommendations to customers
• Responsible for increasing sales of crop inputs & related products to established customers
• Provide expert agronomic advice & recommendations to customers
• Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, & competitors
• Prepare sales reports & forecasts to meet company goals

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license & willingness to travel within territory required
• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field
• 1-3 years' experience in sales within ag industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, & ag technologies
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required & ability to learn/use Ag software
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
