We are seeking a Quality & Compliance Leader to support our Vista Care Intellectual & Developmental Disability Services operations. The Quality & Compliance Leader serves as a member of the Quality team by leading efforts associated with Vista Care’s compliance and quality improvement programs and initiative to multiple programs in multiple states.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Work Schedule: Full Time; standard work week is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
- Location/Travel: Hybrid in South Dakota.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads continuous quality improvement, training, and accreditation/licensure/survey/policies for all services and customer satisfaction
- Evaluate and identify key drivers for systemic deficiencies, and takes a systematic, comprehensive, and data-driven approach to maintaining and improving safety and quality
- Oversees committee functions for assigned regions
- Completes and/or directs the investigation process for assigned regions
- Prepares and coordinates activities for all external audits
- Completes and/or directs the completion of internal monitoring activities, to identify areas of opportunity
- Completes and/or directs the completion of satisfaction surveys and quality of life surveys
- Monitors EHR and quality management system utilization and compliance; analyzes data to inform and improve services
- Completes and/or directs the completion of policy and/or addendums for assigned regions
- Compiles and analyzes data for regions as requested
- Achieve performance competence
- Performs quality reviews across all programs, analyzes data, and identifies trends in defects or errors as well as indicators of high quality and success. SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to handle complex issues and problems.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
- Provide knowledgeable leadership and coaching to operations and quality team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 4 + years of relevant experience
- Knowledge and implementation experience of process improvement methodologies
- Required to pass background checks, upon hire
- Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and insurable driving record that meets Vista Care’s current driving requirements
- E-Verify verification must be completed
- Must have good interpersonal skills and consistently demonstrate effective decision-making abilities
- Prompt and regular attendance is a requirement.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Repetitive manual and finger dexterity and eye- hand coordination;
- Requires the ability to use all office equipment;
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds using appropriate body mechanics.
- Must be able to remain awake and alert for the duration of each shift, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, twist, sit, and walk for periods of time.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all staff, other professionals, and individuals.
- Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in English.

PAY:
$68,000 to $76,000, depending on experience.
