Van Driver

Job description

Hours for drivers are from 6:30am-10:30am and 1:30pm-5:00pm Monday through Friday. You must be available either the morning or afternoon timeslots during the week. If you are available for both timeslots please email charlotte@lancasterandrose.com with your resume and phone number. Do not appy for this position if you cannot work either the morning or evening shift Monday through Friday. GoldenCare has a "no show policy" for all interviews. If an interview is scheduled and there is no contact prior to not showing up for your interview will not be considered for future employment with GoldenCare. Candidates must have driver's license and clean driving record. There is the option to have additional hours for trips on occasion. Ability to have increase in pay after evaluation.

Driver's Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and 10 year driving record.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to pass DOT Physical.

Job Description:

• Drive large vehicles up to and including a 15-passenger van with ADA modifications up to 8 hours per day.
• Lift, with assistance, persons up to 300 pounds.
• Bend, kneel in narrow spaces and lock down wheelchairs and other equipment in van when needed.
• Push/pull persons in wheelchair up and down wheelchair ramps.
• Overhead arm extension and movement involving lifting.
• May not have any health condition or take any medication that could impair alertness or ability to drive safely.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
