Summer Camp Teachers & Counselors | Greenwood
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Summer Camp Teachers & Counselors for our schools throughout Greenwood.
No nights! No weekends! And make a difference every day.
Pay rate is $15 to $17 per hour, based on experience & education.
Positions Available At:
- Sunshine House of Greenwood at Grace Street
- Sunshine House of Greenwood at Calhoun Road
- Sunshine House of Greenwood at Wells Avenue
Summer Camp Teacher Responsibilities:
Summer camp staff supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun, while staying safe.
- Plan outdoor activities or sports for groups of campers.
- Lead recreational and educational activities, such as swimming or crafting.
- Educate campers through games and explorations.
- Make sure all safety rules are followed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 6 months of experience working in licensed childcare preferred.
- ECD 101 or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Energetic and positive personality.
