Full Job Description

1 Resource Group is currently seeking an experienced Small Tools Warehouse Technician to join our clients team in their warehouse. As an experienced Small Tools/ Warehouse Technician, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating the rental tools inventory to clients. This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory of parts for various equipment and machinery.
  • Receiving tool returns, scanning with RF scanner, PO processing
  • Following up and inputting change orders
  • Must understand PO processing
  • Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds unassisted
  • Mechanical knowledge of small tool repair
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order and replenish parts as needed.
  • Track and monitor parts shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external customers to provide updates on parts availability and delivery.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and organization of parts.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Prior experience with small tool coordination or inventory management role.
  • Strong experience with warehouse receiving.
  • Mechanical aptitude (small tools)
  • Experience working with RF scanner, change orders, PO processing, change order tracking
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in managing parts inventory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and software for inventory management.
  • Knowledge of equipment parts and familiarity with industry-specific terminology.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or education in relevant field is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in uncontrolled warehouse elements
  • Experience driving a Forklift and working a pallet jack is a must.

$18.00 - $20.00hr DOR
