Your Role

As a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing board-level hardware for advanced solid-state electricity meters, vital for our energy future. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and Development: Handle all phases of embedded hardware design, from technical analysis to schematic design, PCB layout, hardware debugging, verification testing, and manufacturing release.
  • Next-Gen Products: Lead the development of groundbreaking products in power technology.

Requirements

Location

Based in South Carolina, you’ll have access to a variety of living options: urban, suburban, rural, and college town settings. The area boasts high ratings for cost of living, schools, and quality of life, with Atlanta within driving distance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Expertise: Full life-cycle development of analog and digital electronic hardware.
  • Skills: Strong analog skills with the capability to expand knowledge in power supplies, conversion, and magnetic design.
  • Experience: Over 5 years in board-level electronic hardware development.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with EMI/RFI conformance, design for manufacturing (DFM), cost-effectiveness concepts, and laboratory instruments.
  • Education: BSEE required; MSEE is a plus.
