Registered Nurse - Support for Oral Surgery Department

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a Registered Nurse to help support our Oral Surgery Team! This position would be be split between our Shallotte, NC and North Myrtle Beach, SC offices 4 days a week. The schedule would be Mondays & Tuesdays 7:45am -1:00pm at our North Myrtle Beach office, and Wednesdays & Thursdays 7:45am - 1:00pm at our Shallotte office. Ideally, this candidate would have ICU, ED, PACU or similar experience specifically with procedural open airway technique sedation.

The RN's Responsibilities include such as but not limited to:

• Drawing blood
• Starting IVs
• Assisting with sedation medications under direction of Oral Surgeon
• Recovering patients after sedation
• Maintains instruments, supplies and equipment
• Collects and records patient health histories
• Assists with patient management during procedures
• Completes instrument cleaning & sterilization and post-op sanitization of treatment rooms
• Is responsible for inventory supply and other ancillary duties

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• RN Experience
• Must have a licensed Registered Nurse License in SC
• Comfortable caring for patients under sedation
• Must be CPR certified
• Regular and timely attendance
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Adaptable to business needs
• Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and exercise good judgment
• Ability to formulate, affect, interpret, and/or implement operating practices
• Ability to demonstrate a teamwork approach to job responsibilities

• Must listen attentively for clarification to ensure necessary outcomes.
