RMC is hiring a Program Manager to support our customer in Charleston, SC. The selected applicant will act as the overall lead and manager for the project effort; serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on functional and program/project issues; oversee execution of the project requirements and manage project resources. The selected applicant will:
- Oversee the operations of complex technical program
- Coordinate time, budget, and resources to complete the work within the program guidelines
- Support the staffing process (i.e. review resumes, participate in interviews, support decision making process)
- Coordinate all projects and their interdependences, develop and align all task order deliverables as required by the SOW
- Plan for and track financial data and generate reports
- Have practical experience managing complex DoD programs
- Manage relationships with commercial vendors, customers, system users, and internal staff.
- Coordinate and monitor multiple actions, schedules, tasks and meetings.
- Manage the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M); ensuring all technical program activities are identified and accounted for properly.
- Exhibit excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and lead effectively in a team environment. The ability to learn and master new technologies and deliver quality products within short time frames is critical.
- Perform the duties of a supervisor for several contractor staff.
- The selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree.
- The selected candidate will also possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
- Fifteen (15) years of technical experience in support of Federal network, data center, or application operations, to include: equipment support, system support, and programmatic support is required.
- An additional eight (8) years of Program Management experience, to include: technology assessments, systems design, systems analysis, programmatic support, acquisition planning, and budget planning is required.
- Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures is required.
An active DoD SECRET clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
