Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Weld, cut, and fabricate metal pipes, tubes and fittings in accordance with project specifications.
• Ensure all welding equipment and tools are properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Operate hoists, lift trucks, and hand tools as required.
• Observe safety precautions at all times, both in the shop and on job sites.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights above ground level.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass two weld test (x-ray) Carbon Steel Pipe test, one with stainless steel 309 TIG test
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe welding.
• Strong mechanical skills including the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with a variety of welding techniques including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, hoists, and lift trucks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
