Physician - Critical Care - Pediatric

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional medical care to pediatric patients in critical condition, while demonstrating expertise in pediatric critical care medicine. The physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for young patients.

Responsibilities:

- Provide expert medical care to critically ill pediatric patients in the intensive care unit

- Assess and diagnose pediatric patients, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans

- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient

- Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing them with clear and compassionate updates on their child's condition and treatment plan

- Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows

- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research activities within the pediatric critical care department

- Adhere to all relevant medical standards, protocols, and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

- Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

- Valid state medical license

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Commitment to providing compassionate and family-centered care for pediatric patients

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working as a Pediatric Critical Care Physician

- Research experience and publications in pediatric critical care
