Logistics Manager

Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is seeking a dynamic Logistics Manager to lead our logistics operations and enhance the efficiency of our distribution processes. This role is crucial for supporting our mission of fostering community growth and sustainability through effective resource management.

As a Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strategizing and optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring the seamless movement and storage of materials. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement logistics strategies that meet the organization’s operational objectives.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, and inventory processes to streamline operations.
• Coordinate the scheduling of shipments and deliveries, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to enhance logistics efficiency.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Negotiate contracts with transport providers to secure the best rates and services.
• Mentor and lead the logistics team to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Prepare and analyze logistics reports for management review.
• Explore tech solutions to improve logistics operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations including transportation and inventory management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with contract negotiation and vendor relations.
• Commitment to sustainable practices and resource management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; certifications are advantageous.
