Logistics Coordinator

Chicago Cornea Consultants, LTD is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of our ophthalmology practice to ensure the efficient movement of inventory and supplies.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be key to the success of our logistics operations.

In addition to managing the day-to-day logistics activities, you will also play a vital role in optimizing our supply chain processes. This will involve monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, preferably in the healthcare or medical industry
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in using inventory management software
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Experience with medical equipment and pharmaceutical logistics is a plus
