We are currently seeking a Logistician to assist in a variety of activities. At FirstDiv, we provide high-quality, professional services to both government and commercial sectors. The qualified candidate shall perform the following tasks:
- Provide life-cycle logistics support for electronic systems, including logistics management principles, practices, and processes.
- Support Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.
- Analyze contracts, system design specifications, and engineering/systems management data.
- Develop logistics plans and procedures, as well as logistics management plans and guidelines.
- Supervise logistics specialists and ensure efficient logistics operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support for electronic systems, or 20 years if not DAWIA Level 3 certified.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in support of Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.
- Demonstrated management skills, including analyzing contracts, system design specifications, and engineering/systems management data.
- Experience developing logistics plans and procedures and logistics management plans and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Professional Logistics Certification, such as DAWIA certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 3, or equivalent logistics training. Alternatively, an additional 5 years of experience in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
- An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
