Kelly Castleberry Real Estate is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by assisting prospective tenants throughout the leasing process. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional communication skills, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting property tours, answering inquiries about available units, and assisting applicants with the application and leasing process. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting credit and background checks, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and ensuring that all documentation is properly filed. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and provide detailed information about available units and amenities
- Answer inquiries from prospective tenants and provide prompt, accurate, and personalized responses
- Assist applicants with the application and leasing process, ensuring that all required documents are submitted and reviewed
- Conduct credit and background checks on prospective tenants
- Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly communicated and understood by both parties
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, ensuring that units are clean, inspected, and ready for occupancy
- Resolve tenant concerns and issues in a prompt and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor analysis to effectively promote and market available units
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate or related field preferred
- Proven experience in customer service or sales role, preferably in real estate or property management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and leasing practices
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
