JOB SUMMARY: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
The EI Technician will create value by performing measurement, reliability, and troubleshooting of the 3V electrical and instrumentation processes/equipment to meet and exceed the facility goals for quality and production. This position will locate, inspect, diagnose, and correct uncommon and complex electrical systems, control problems, calibrate instruments, and perform both preventative and reactive maintenance to electrical equipment and control systems.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 330pm, Must be available for Call-In's as necessary
Pay Range is 28-34/hour
Requirements

- Ensure proper operation of all control system components to include: electronic components, valves, switches, PLC Control and related I/O modules
- Troubleshoot and Repair - VFD's, AC Motors up to 350hp, Soft Start Motor controllers, MCC Starters & Motor Stop/Start stations
- Working knowledge of conduit bending, reading electrical and loop drawings
- Perform measuring and testing (ex. Ammeters, voltmeters, transducer, calibration devices) to install equipment or replace/repair existing components
- Work with 24DC up to 480AC, 3 phase on a frequent basis
- Inspect, test, and calibrate meters, indicators, gauges (such as flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers) to detect abnormal fluctuations
- Install pneumatic, electronic, and instrumentation equipment
- Basic understanding and knowledge of control systems, valves, motors, and instrumentation/concepts of flow, level, pressure, and temperature (Required)
- Working knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) (Required)
- PLC experience (Required)
