Deputy Program Manager

RMC is hiring for a Deputy Project Manager to support our customer at NIWC LANT in Charleston, SC.

Requirements

• Assist in overseeing the operations of complex technical program
• Coordinate time, budget, and resources to complete the work within the program guidelines
• Support the staffing process (i.e. review resumes, participate in interviews, support decision making process).
• Coordinate all projects and their interdependences, develop and align all task order deliverables as required by the SOW.
• Plan for and track financial data and generate reports.
• Have practical experience managing complex DoD programs.
• Manage relationships with commercial vendors, customers, system users, and internal staff.
• Coordinate and monitor multiple actions, schedules, tasks and meetings.
• Exhibit excellent communication & interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and lead effectively in a team environment. The ability to learn and master new technologies and deliver quality products within short time frames is critical.
• Perform the duties of a supervisor for several contractor staff, to include but not limited to, MSRs for CDRLs.
• Analyze and contribute to technical processes across all areas of RDT&E including but not limited to helpdesk, Core Services, and Customer Engagement
• Assist Civilian PM lead of Core Services team
• Attend all technical related meetings where multiple teams are present.

Additional Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Security, Data Science, Physics, Math, or a Computer Science-related field is highly preferred
• Experience with NIWC LANT is highly preferred
• The selected applicant must have an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), or Current Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 Program Management Certification
• Security Clearance:
• An DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
• Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
