Summary
Process accounts payable invoices and prepares checks for weekly payment. Issue manual checks when necessary. Assist with preparing the weekly cash disbursement forecast. Assist 3V offices/vendors on accounts payable issues when necessary. Review monthly inventories for pricing issues. Perform other accounts payable related duties and projects when required.
Starting Salary Range is 50k+
Requirements
- Vendor Invoices: Open all accounts payable mail. Stamp, date and file invoices for processing. Enter invoices into JD Edwards System and/or Rossum for general ledger posting and payment. Prepare monthly cash disbursement reports for the Accounting Management.
- Receiving: Obtain receiving documents to include certificates of acceptance from warehouse, construction, and various other departments and file. All receiving documents are attached to applicable invoices. Timely matching is necessary to avoid delays in payments to vendors.
- Payments: Process and prepare accounts payable payments weekly and match against the JD Edwards Cash Requirements. Any ACH and Wires should be processed into CashPro by the A/R Department. Remittance notification should be made as necessary.
- Month End: Review Received Not Invoiced Report for accuracy and balance to the general ledger. Review all inventories except Spare Parts for pricing issues and reasonableness. Run various reports to assist Accounting Management.
- General: Assist 3V offices with urgent payments and other accounts payable issues. Respond to vendor inquiries concerning payments and/or account status. Review mail and distribute to responsible persons for necessary approvals. Assist external auditors with year-end schedules, review of procedures and transaction details.
