Technical Editor (Supervisory) ( CONTINGENT )

ROGERCO, Inc. delivers advanced technology, cybersecurity, communications advisory, and multi-media services and is looking for a talented, seasoned Technical Writer/Editor to join our creative team of artists to support a Navy client. Ideal candidates have an active Secret security clearance and previous communications work experience for the federal government, preferably defense. This position is on-site in Newport, RI. Candidates must also have an active SECRET security clearance and previous experience in multimedia design for the federal government. Contingent upon award of contract.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, review, format, revise, proofread, publish, coordinate, produce, and facilitate distribution of technical and non-technical unclassified and classified publications. Typical products include: technical reports, documents, manuals, technical memoranda, technical proposals, instruction books, directives, articles, catalogs, administrative publications, newsletters, brochures, presentations, training products, and other publications associated with the customer’s mission and accomplishments.
• Supervise technical writers on team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism preferred.
• 2-4 years demonstrated professional experience creating, editing, and reviewing technical materials
